Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar – Transfer to the Beach

Upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your driver and transferred to your hotel or beach resort, located on one of the island’s stunning coastlines — either the East Coast (Paje, Jambiani) or North Coast (Nungwi, Kendwa). After check-in, relax by the beach or pool, take in the sea breeze, and let your holiday begin. Overnight at your beach resort.

Day 2: Full Day at Leisure – Beach & Ocean Bliss

Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Wake up to the sound of waves, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and spend the day swimming, sunbathing, or walking along the powdery white sand. Most resorts offer kayaking, paddleboarding, or beach yoga for those wanting light activities. For the adventurous, optional excursions include snorkeling at Mnemba Atoll or a scuba diving session. Dinner is served under the stars. Overnight at your resort.

Day 3: Explore Stone Town & Spice Tour (Optional)

After breakfast, take an optional guided tour to Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the historic heart of Zanzibar. Walk through its winding alleys, visit the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, and the former slave market, and shop for spices and crafts at local bazaars. In the afternoon, visit a spice farm to see, touch, and taste Zanzibar’s famed cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, and more. Return to your beach resort for a relaxed evening by the ocean.

Day 4: Optional Sea Adventure or Full Day at Leisure

Choose between another day of total relaxation or opt for an exciting ocean excursion. A popular choice is a full-day safari blue tour — a boat trip that includes island hopping, snorkeling, seafood BBQ lunch on a sandbank, and dolphin spotting. Alternatively, enjoy a romantic sunset dhow cruise, complete with snacks and drinks. Return to your hotel and enjoy your evening as you wish.

Day 5: Cultural Experience or Beach Spa Day

For a cultural touch, consider visiting a local fishing village or participating in a Swahili cooking class. Or, if you’re in the mood for full indulgence, treat yourself to a spa day at the resort, featuring massages, facials, and oceanfront relaxation. This is your day to unwind completely before your journey home.

Day 6: Departure – Transfer to Airport

After a final breakfast overlooking the Indian Ocean, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight. If you have a late flight, you may enjoy a few more hours on the beach or last-minute shopping in Stone Town (if time allows). Say farewell to paradise — until next time!
